Detact includes more than 15 browser-based apps for a wide range of analysis and diagnostic tasks.

These apps can be activated and adapted according to the individual needs of the respective users. This makes the Detact AI platform highly flexible and scalable.

For users, this has a multitude of advantages. For example, they can select a small app package for the start of the project, which they can then expand step by step.

In many cases yes! Because: Detact is NOT an MES (Manufacturing Execution System)! Instead, the AI system can perfectly complement an MES and/or specifically expand or even replace its range of functions.

Instead, Detact functions as a higher-level platform that structures and analyses data fully automatically and uses the methods of artificial intelligence to make recommendations for action in terms of process chain optimisation or quality management. This goes far beyond the possibilities of an MES.

In contrast to the mostly inflexible and ponderous MES, Detact creates real transparency with regard to the parameter interactions in the technological process. In practice, Detact works smoothly with existing MES, PDA, ERP and other systems.

Then you can test the AI system extensively, for example as part of a pilot project on a single system or as a single-server solution. If you are convinced by this ‘small’ system, you can easily expand it later to as many servers and/or locations as you like.

The larger the project, the greater the effects Detact generates. For larger companies, there are additional advantages: the more data you can process, the more valuable results Detact can provide. This becomes particularly interesting when processing Big Data.

For Detact Connect you need the following infrastructure:

Computer with at least 4 GB RAM, at least 2 cores, at least 100 GB HD/SSD and Windows 7 or higher.
Alternatively: Detact Connect Box from Symate
Network access to the relevant machine(s), e.g. via OPC, Euromap, etc.
Access to data directories for manual export
Outgoing ports: 443 (data transmission)
Incoming ports: None

For Detact you need the following infrastructure:

Core & GUI Server for data processing & storage

Reading access to relevant databases
(must be available in the office network via port 443 or 80)

Not as a rule! Because the special strength of Detact is its flexibility! Detact communicates with practically every existing system. Even for highly complex in-house developments, we can offer a suitable solution in the shortest possible time.

This is mainly due to the fact that Detact was designed as a comprehensive system that uses the data from the existing systems and remains independent. The integration effort is therefore minimal.

Because Detact is end-to-end, we guarantee maximum automation with minimal setup and administration for your IT.

This means that the set-up can take place without affecting the day-to-day business, as we use data sources that are already available anyway.

If you use the Detact Cloud for pilot projects, there is no need for provisioning and maintenance of the server technology. In this case, the provision can even be completed in a few hours.

Depending on the size of the project, Detact can be set up as a running system in just a few man-days – even for highly complex projects. A large part of the work can be done remotely. This saves time and money.

If all relevant systems communicate via the internet and are properly connected, almost all work can be done remotely. Nevertheless, it usually makes sense for the Detact experts to get an impression at your premises in order to better assess the potential of your technology data as well as the associated processes.

Detact consists of different apps that are activated individually depending on the task. This means that individual users do not have to familiarise themselves with the entire AI system, but only with the apps that are relevant to their task.

In addition, the Detact apps are largely self-explanatory and many tasks run automatically. Last but not least, the analysed data is clearly visualised. This makes the work much easier.

When Detact has been set up for a single installation, the installation can be transferred to comparable systems very easily and quickly.

This is completely uncritical, because Detact replaces the famous ‘gut feeling’ with objective data. Many years of experience and intuition thus become secondary.
